Make Your Tires Last Longer!

There are many spray-on tire-care products on the market today. Altough glossy-black look is what makes them appear in good condition, we suggest you go few steps further.
You can use regular soap pads to clean white letters and remove brown brake dust from the sidewalls.
It should become your daily routine that your check your tires daily for bulges and inspect air pressure at every gas stop. Right inflation pressure will make your tire last longer plus it will improve the vehicle's fuel economy. Not enough air in your tires causes shoulders to wear faster than the centers. Too much air, on the other hand, makes the center strips go bald earlier.

Assuming that your vehicle is aligned properly, less expensive brands of tires should last up to 30,000 miles; more expensive brands - up to 50,000 miles. Any tire older than 5 years should be exchanged.

This tech tip is brought to you by www.autopartsway.com - one of the largest online retailers of auto parts, wheels and tires.
